1.2344 material is a common used hot work die steel. With the combination of alloyed elements of chromium, molybdenum and vanadium, Cr-Mo-V, provide 1.2344 steel a high wear resistance to thermal shock. 1.2344 mold steel is well known as for its great strength, and heat resistance. 1.2344 hot work die steel equivalent material include JIS SKD61, AISI H13, and BS BH13.
