Cr12 grade is alloy mold steel under GB/T 1299 standard. It is cold work mold steel with excellent resistance to abrasion. GB/T 1299 Cr12 alloy can be used for making impact die and punches, cold shear knife,drill sleeve, gauge, wire drawing dies that is under small impact load and requires high abrasive resistance.
GB/T 1299 Cr12 equivalent has D3, 1.2080, and SKD1.
