MnCrWV is an alloy tool steel containing manganese, chromium, tungsten, and vanadium; due to its exceptional wear resistance and impact resistance, it is frequently used in the manufacture of cold-work dies.
MnCrWV Mold Steel Mechanical Properties:
It achieves a tensile strength of 1200–1500 MPa and a hardness range of HRC 45–55, while possessing a combination of excellent toughness and fatigue resistance.
Its heat resistance is outstanding, allowing for prolonged use at temperatures below 500°C without significant softening. Furthermore, it exhibits superior wear resistance, making it particularly well-suited for high-stress and high-friction environments.
MnCrWV Mold Steel Specifications:
Steel Bar Specifications: Φ3 – Φ150 × 2500
Steel Plate Specifications: T0.5 mm – T20 mm
Steel Strip Specifications: T0.1 mm – T2.0 mm
By virtue of its balanced chemical composition and exceptional comprehensive properties, MnCrWV mold steel has become an indispensable foundational material in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing, particularly well-suited for industrial applications with stringent requirements for strength, wear resistance, and heat resistance.
