4Cr5MoSiV1 Die Steel’s Heat Treatment

  4Cr5MoSiV1 material is a common hot work die steel, similar to 4Cr5MoSiV. The material is under GB/T1299-2014. Due to the higher content of Vanadium element, its property is better than 4Cr5MoSiV.

       4Cr5MoSiV1 Chemical Composition %:

  C: 0.32-0.45, Si: 0.80-1.20, Mn: 0.20-0.50, S:≤0.030, P:≤0.030, Cr: 4.75~5.50, Ni: ≤0.25, Cu:≤0.30, V: 0.80-1.20, Mo: 1.10-1.75

  4Cr5MoSiV1 Heat Treatment

  Delivery status: Brinell hardness HBW10/3000 (less than or equal to 235)), quenching: 790℃ + -15℃ preheating, 1000℃ (salt bath) or 1010℃ (furnace controlled atmosphere) + -6℃ heating, heat preservation 5-15min air cooling, 550℃ + -6℃ tempering; annealing, hot processing;

  Delivery status: The steel is delivered in an annealed condition.
