S275J2 is a European standard carbon structural steel, equivalent to the national standard Q275D. The carbon content of this kind of steel is about 0.05% ~ 0.70%, and the carbon content of some steels can even be as high as 0.90%. The "S" in the S275J2 steel plate indicates structural steel, "275" indicates that the lower limit of the yield strength is 275Mpa, and "J2" indicates that the steel plate was tested for impact energy at -20°C.
